Paris Fashion Week-Day 3!

Paris  is already shaping up to be a great adventure in fashion! Day 2 brought us a few very innovative collections, which overall left me optimistic about the looks for Fall 2012.

Dries Van Noten offered an exciting collection of  the perfect mix of classic and trend. Showing the dusty neutral palette that is all the rage this season in combination with bold pops of color, this collection was sublime for me!

Known for more of a glamor style, Anthony Vaccarello showed a fitted, body accentuating collection. The Designer’s tailored looks and understated palette are right on trend and fabulously glamorous!

As we expected, there were some outrageous looks too! We move to the crazy “What Were they Thinking?” selections for the day.

Gareth Pugh offered an unusual collection that did have some merit, but overall many of the looks left me feeling like Cousin It had entered the building! Devastee sent looks down the runway that reminded of me of the house coats that many Grandmothers wore in the early-mid 1900’s…..I’m hard pressed to see any flattering or functional applications for many of the pieces in this forgettable collection.
